„ One mustn’t close one’s eyes to difficulty...
„ One mustn’t close one’s eyes to difficulty and to shortcomings, the more one recognizes them, the less they upset one”
Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
Every day we meet problems. They can hurt us, so sometimes it seems to be better, for us to hide them and then act. It is a very big mistake, because over time the problem is getting bigger and bigger. By hiding everything, we cannot run away from it. Later it can give us more pain and can hurt us twice as strong as we expected at the beginning. Therefore, when we meet the problem and it seems that we cannot solve this, first of all we should change our perspective of seeing it because it is very important to recognize it and solve it before the problem overwhelms us. All problems may became smaller when we can breast them instead of escaping responsibility. On the other hand, sometimes it is not that we cannot find the solution but we cannot see the problem or try to solve the wrong aspect of the problem, because we try to focus on the wrong thing.
Firstly, unfortunately, avoiding your problems usually causes them to come back, and a small problem can become a big problem over time. When we accept that the problem already exists and stop resisting it then you also stop putting more energy into it and stressing out. You can use that energy which previously fed the problem and looked bigger than it was before, to find creative solutions to the challenge. We often make a mistake of thinking our negative emotions are the problem. This is false. Use your negative emotions to guide you for example when you are feeling anxious or frustrated in a particular situation, try to find the problem that is making you feel that way. Secondly, solving a problem can sometimes seem overwhelming and impossible. It will be easier to us to break a problem by identifying the different parts it consists of and focus one by one on each. The biggest mistake that we tend to make when finding solutions to our problems is to think about the same old solutions. However, if those old solutions worked, the problem would not still be around. Life without problems would not be life at all, but when a few problems appear, it is difficult to find strength to actually sit down and think about them rationally. Perhaps, the one thing we can do is to work on each of them one at a time.
In conclusion, we should not shut ourselves down to any difficulties in our lives, but go against them and look for solutions that will eliminate them forever.Sometimes it is difficult for us because we feel fear and frustration but this is life, which means overcoming these negative emotions and solving problems.
